yummy La Duree chocolates from the office
Next to Christmas, Easter is when the most chocolate is consumed in France. Everywhere you go you'll see chocolate bunnies, chickens, eggs, bells (don't ask me why bells), and whatever other shape one can think of. This Easter both G and I received chocolate chicks from G's sister's new boyfriend. Considering who gave us the chocolates I didn't think G would eat his share. But well, chocolates are chocolates and even though I'm not into white chocolate, I gladly bit into the cute little chick's head. It's tradition! And who am I to say no to tradition especially when people start giving you La Duree chocolates in cute little La Duree boxes. Well, it's not actually shaped like an animal nor a fancy Easter symbol but well, it's La Duree!
I heart Easter!! And having a 4-day weekend during this time does not hurt either!
Happy Easter everyone!
