xc and lomography

G absolutely adores taking photos. and for the longest time i've been wanting him to try lomography. so i'd always check out lomo cameras (team manila, centre pompidou, etc) when we go out. i've never bought him one since every time we check out the cameras he doesn't seem interested in them.

never did i realize that he'd think that i was always checking out lomo cameras because i wanted to buy one for myself! awwww...

so for christmas, he surprised me with a nice silver package from printemps. it was a hot orange fisheye camera!!!!

i love the color! and it's nice that it's one of the lomo cameras that do not need special film.

i was so excited to use it that i didn't realize that i put the 36 exposure film in it. i'm only on the 25th, i think, so i have to wait 'til i finish the roll to have it developed.

i can't wait to see the results! i know it's gonna be fabulous! but it's also so expensive to have film developed nowadays. well, it's not super expensive but i've been so used to the digital world wherein you just print the photos you want. oh well.

i already have a 12 exp. black and white film ready for the next one. excited!

but now i have to go sleep. we have to do 2 weeks worth of laundry tomorrow and i need all the energy i have to lug 20 kilos of clothes at 9 am in 4 degrees. maybe i'll take pictures of us doing the laundry tomorrow just to finish the roll....
